Inspiration

When Joseph Rael came to Three Rivers, Michigan for the dedication of EarthSong Peace/Sound Chamber in June 2002, he announced to people that we have a sound school here, and we realized that a sound mystery school had already begun. We laughed and realized that we had been given an“assignment.” Consequently, Ruth Eichler, steward of the peace chamber and Kay Ferry who had dreamed of a sound school for years began collaborating with others to form the EarthSong Sound Mystery School. Ruth and Kay are the primary facilitators of the School.

Vision Statement

EarthSong Sound Mystery School is a community of people learning to manifest consciousness in new forms--working through sound, sight, scent and silence—to unlock the mystery of being and vibration in all of matter.

Mission Statement

EarthSong Sound Mystery School
calls together participants who desire to unfold their unique, vibrational imprints for the purpose of weaving together personal and planetary harmony. The School offers people the opportunity to find their unique inner and outer sounds (tangible, felt and known frequencies) that are in resonance with Divine Mystery.

Goals

EarthSong Sound Mystery School offers the opportunity to:

1. Explore the nature of sound and vibration within a nurturing, healing environment at the EarthSong Peace/Sound Chamber.

2. Open to new forms of consciousness through sound, scent, sight and silence.

3. Engage in the study of the physiology of sound making, including voice, breath, tone, and harmonics.

4. Explore the effect of sound—including healing--on body, mind and spirit.

5. Experience the vibratory nature of scent and color as it relates to sound.

6. Study the teachings of Joseph Rael relating to being and vibration.

7. Recognize the universality of sound in sacred spiritual traditions.

8. Empower through sacred practices such as toning, chanting, overtoning,
focused breathing, meditation, movement and ceremony.

9. Unlock the mysteries of breath, matter and movement through the study of sound, sacred geometry, and archetypal symbols.

10. Deepen the understanding of the Great Mother and Her divine infusion
into matter.

11. Form a supportive community through the ongoing experiences of the
School.
